Chris is originally from Suwanee, Georgia. He majored in Political Science at the University of Georgia, where he aspired to a career in politics. After a short stint in public policy, Chris realized the best way to make the difference he wanted to make in the world was through the practice of law. With that in mind, Chris went to the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Immediately in law school, Chris focused his studies to criminal defense. While in law school, Chris even won his first criminal case in magistrate court. A former professor and mentor once told him that "criminal defenders are the true protectors of the Constitution," which he has come to appreciate daily in his practice.
During his third year of law school, Chris began to clerk at this firm and knew it was the perfect fit for his professional and personal goals. Working at this firm has given Chris the ability to work one-on-one with a wide range of clients and professionals. Chris has handled cases involving ranging from DUIs and domestic violence to armed robbery and sex offenses. Chris has also represented clients in contract disputes, automobile accidents and employment discrimination cases.
