Mr. Wahl concentrates his practice in the area of employment law in all areas where employees need representation, including the negotiation of employment and severance packages; litigation, arbitration, and appeals; complaints to the EEOC; counseling employees undergoing threats to their jobs; and consulting with whistleblowers, victims of discrimination, sexual harassment, or retaliation.
In his 30 years of practice, he has successfully tried discrimination cases to juries in numerous cities across the United States, including Detroit, San Francisco, New York City, Philadelphia, Newark, South Bend, Chicago, and Erie, Pa. He has also been lead trial attorney in group and class action cases in federal courts in the states of Montana, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
Mr. Wahl is most proud of his success in establishing the rights of salaried employees in New Jersey to rely on the promises contained in their employers' handbooks; these rights may be enforced in court because of his successful representation of Richard Wooley in the New Jersey Supreme Court; see Wooley v Hoffman-La Roche, 491 A2d 1257 (NJ 1985).
Mr. Wahl and attorney Raymond J. Sterling left Driggers Schultz & Herbst to form their current firm in 2008.
