Alyson Blatney’s versatility is an asset she brings to every case. "I'm very detail-oriented, so I enjoy researching cases, drafting pleadings and preparing motions." But she also enjoys interacting with clients and other attorneys, being in the courtroom, and seeing how the law applies to each situation.
"Every day as an attorney brings new challenges where I learn something new and find new ways to solve problems," she says.
Ms. Blatney grew up in Plano and attended the University of Texas at Austin. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor in 2008 from St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio, graduating cum laude.
While attending St. Mary's, she served as first a staff writer and then as associate editor for the St. Mary's Law Journal.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the President-Elect of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, and a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers where she also serves as a Co-Chair of the DAYL Animal Welfare Committee and a member of the 2009 DAYL Leadership Class. She is admitted to practice in all state courts, the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
