Stacey Lefont has extensive experience in a wide range of lending and structured finance transactions, including credit facilities, complex structured financings, asset securitizations, commercial mortgage-backed securitizations, second lien financings, cross-border transactions, project financings, synthetic leases, and leveraged leases. She has represented agent banks, borrowers, and private equity firms in syndicated credit facilities, including both senior and second lien facilities, for acquisitions, recapitalizations, and working capital facilities.
Stacey's structured finance work includes representation of a monoline insurer in various securitizations involving railcars, gas pipeline compressors, and notes; representation of a major energy company in connection with minority equity interest and deconsolidation transactions; and representation of various equity investors in minority equity interest transactions, including a film securitization transaction. Her leasing work has included representation of lessors and lessees in connection with synthetic leases and leveraged leases of build-to-suit real estate projects, power generation facilities, aircraft, natural gas compressors, shipping containers, railcars, and manufacturing equipment.
