Prior to founding Kravet & Vogel, LLP, Mr. Vogel was a partner in the New York office of DeMartino Finkelstein Rosen & Virga, handling all aspects of commercial, real estate, business and bankruptcy litigation. Prior to joining the DeMartino firm, Mr. Vogel was Special Litigation Counsel with Hahn & Hessen, one of the leading bankruptcy, creditors' rights and commercial litigation firms in New York City. Mr. Vogel began his career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York handling commercial litigation and real estate tax appeals for the City of New York.
Practicing since 1982, Mr. Vogel has had extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and business disputes, representing banks, factors, textile and apparel manufacturers, leasing companies, corporations, partnerships, individuals and bankruptcy trustees. Areas of law in which he has had significant experience include contracts, securities, secured transactions, banking, factoring, creditors' rights and foreclosures, bankruptcy, letters of credit transactions, textile and apparel industry disputes, real estate and construction litigation.
Mr. Vogel holds a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law (1981) where he graduated with Dean's List honors and with honors in Secured Transactions, as well as a B.S. degree in Economics from St. John's University, College of Business Administration (1978), magna cum laude. Mr. Vogel is admitted to practice before all federal and state courts in New York. Mr. Vogel is an active member of several bar associations' committees including the New York County Lawyers Association Committee on Professional Ethics and is "AV" rated by Martindale Hubbell.
