Lefkovitz, Allen A.

Zahir A. Virani is a member of the firm's Business Litigation, Commercial Finance and Corporate & General Business groups. In the banking and commercial finance areas, Zahir works on significant foreign and domestic banking matters. At Zahir's prior firm, his experiences included work for numerous banks and other commercial clients on a variety of transactional matters.

Areas of Experience

Zahir joined the firm in 2011. At his prior firm, Zahir advised financial institution clients on multiple restructuring issues, including out of court workouts of two major mono-line insurance companies, analysis of issues related to complex holding company structure, capitalization of new drop down companies, facets of commutation transactions, forbearance agreements, and due diligence issues. Zahir's experience at our firm includes the following:

• representation of banking interests in connection with structuring, review and negotiation of substantial lending arrangements, including loan syndication, and export financing transactions involving the United States and offshore venues;
• analysis, drafting, negotiation and counseling in connection with contractual engagements between commercial entities relating to commercial arrangements;
• Business Litigation relating to complex matters in the Federal courts.
