Ms. Villalva grew up in the DFW Metroplex and obtained her B.S. in Political Science from the University of Texas-Arlington with summa cum laude distinction. She immediately pursued a law degree from St. Mary's University School of Law where she graduated in 2006. After becoming licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma, Ms. Villalva's love for trial work and public service led her to accept a position as an Assistant District Attorney in the 12th Judicial District of Oklahoma, where she served for five years.
During her time in the District Attorney's Office, Ms. Villalva gained extensive experience as a first-chair litigator, tried numerous jury trials, and developed a reputation for taking on tough cases with passion and success. Although she has tried everything from misdemeanors to murder, as a prosecutor, Ms. Villalva spent endless days prosecuting cases on behalf of victims of child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence.
Ms. Villalva joined the firm in January 2012 and her passion continues to remain in using her skills and resources to assist families in recovering from difficult circumstances. Her work extends to child custody issues, divorces, modifications, adoptions and all other family law litigation issues.
