Steve LeBlanc was born in Donaldsonville, LA in 1946, received a BA in Psychology from LSU in 1970 and his JD from LSU Law School in 1973. Since his admission to the LA. State Bar in 1973, Mr. LeBlanc has been engaged in the private practice of law in Baton Rouge, LA. Mr. LeBlanc has extensive experience in civil, criminal and family law. Mr. LeBlanc also handles personal injury litigation.
In addition, Mr. LeBlanc is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the 5th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the Federal District Courts for the Middle, Eastern and Western Districts of LA.
Mr. LeBlanc is a member of the American Bar Association, Baton Rouge Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. He is rated "BV" by Martindale-Hubble.
Since 1988, Mr. LeBlanc has served on the Group Health Insurance Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Lawyer Referral Service of the Baton Rouge Bar Association since the 1970's. In November, 1996, Mr. LeBlanc was elected to the LA. Republican State Central Committee, and was reelected in 2000.
