Sarah E. Lawson joined the law firm of Smith and Cockett in the spring of 2006. A native of Rogersvi lie, Tennessee, Ms. Lawson graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2001, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History. Sarah attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in the Spring of 2005. While at Cumberland, Ms. Lawson spent summers working and studying law abroad in the United Kingdom. She was an active member of Women in Law and the Constitutional Society. Ms. Lawson has served as judicial referee for Johnson County, and is the Delinquent tax attorney for the Town of Mountain City and Johnson County. She is admitted to practice in Tennessee and the United States District Court. Her practice at Smith and Cockett consists mainly of: Social.
