Molly Lawson is an attorney in the Milwaukee office in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.

During her eight years with Michael Best as a patent agent and as an attorney, Ms. Lawson has prosecuted patent applications in both the U.S. and foreign countries and is experienced in all phases of obtaining patent protection both domestically and internationally.

Ms. Lawson's patent prosecution practice is focused on computer software and hardware technologies, such as cryptographic and security applications, medical imaging systems and applications, financial transaction processing, wireless networks and communication protocols, web-based applications and business methods, and system monitoring and control systems, including control systems for utility delivery networks and radiation systems.

Ms. Lawson also has significant experience in drafting agreements and contracts, including license agreements, joint development agreements, non-disclosure and privacy agreements, hosting service agreements, source code and technology escrow agreements, and terms-of-use agreements for websites and software applications.
