Hannah Vellinga is an associate in the firm. Hannah, a Sioux City native, earned a B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in 2009. She earned her law degree, with honors, at the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2012 and joined the firm soon thereafter.
While at the University of Northern Iowa, Hannah was the President of the Student Lobbying Group and an Associate Justice of the University's Supreme Court. During her time at the University of Arkansas, Hannah worked at the Washington County Public Defender's Office handling hundreds of arraignments for both felonies and misdemeanors, and also was the Administrative Editor of the Journal of Islamic Law and Culture.
Hannah is engaged in the general practice of law, including, but not limited to criminal defense, bankruptcy, domestic relations, family law, social security disability and probate administration. Hannah is a member of the Iowa State Bar Association.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
