Eric Larsen has a unique combination of education and experience that allows him to connect with clients from all walks of life. He understands that becoming entangled in the legal system can be intimidating for a number of reasons and, to that end, he takes a problem solving approach to help his clients navigate through their cases in the most efficient manner. He combines this problem solving approach with aggressive advocacy to produce positive results for his clients.
A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, Eric spent twelve years working with the Michigan Department of Corrections. The majority of his career with the MDOC was spent working as a parole & probation agent in the 42nd Circuit Court located in Midland County, Michigan. An integral part of the criminal justice system, Eric gained invaluable courtroom experience that prepared him for a successful litigation practice.
In 2007, Eric made the decision to return to school to pursue a law degree. Balancing the demands of law school with his employment and duties as a husband and father of three young children, Eric excelled. He graduated Cum Laude, ranking in the top 12% of his class at Thomas M Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
Following Law School, Eric worked as an associate attorney at Cline Close Dyer PLC in Midland, Michigan. He successfully represented clients in the areas of Family Law, Criminal Defense, General Civil Litigation, Landlord-Tenant matters, and Collections. Eric was very involved in the Midland County Bar Association serving as Treasurer and as a committee member for Law Day.
