Jimmy Vallee advises multinational companies, institutional investors, and private equity funds on mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, buyouts, corporate reorganizations, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and corporate governance matters, primarily in the energy industry.

Jimmy has represented several companies listed among the Fortune 500 in complex M&A and other commercial transactions, including American Electric Power, CenterPoint Energy, Chevron, Continental Airlines, Halliburton, Micron Technology, Reliant Energy, Tesoro, The Williams Companies, and Wal-Mart. In addition, Jimmy has represented private equity clients and institutional investors in several acquisitions, buyouts, financings, and restructurings in the energy and consumer products industries, including TSG Consumer Partners, Parallel Investment Partners, The Riverside Company, and Wells Fargo Energy Capital.

Atlas Energy, Electricité de France, OGE Energy, and Quicksilver Resources are among other companies Jimmy has advised on substantial M&A matters in the energy industry.

Jimmy is a frequent speaker on M&A, corporate governance, energy regulation and transactions, and securities law. He served on the editorial advisory board of Natural Gas Contracts, published by Thompson Publishing Group. He is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Association for Corporate Growth (Houston Chapter), the Energy Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Bar Association.
