John E. Lanza has been associated with Lanza & Lanza LLP since its inception and has been a practicing attorney since 2001. He maintains an active probate practice including probate litigation (will contests, guardianships, fiduciary accounting challenges), estate and trust administration and estate planning (drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and living wills).
He has been appointed by the Hunterdon County Surrogate to represent elderly clients in guardianship proceedings and to administer testamentary trusts for minors. In 2010, he lectured before the organization Volunteer Guardianship One-on-One on the topic of avoiding court challenges to guardianships.
Along with his probate work, Mr. Lanza also maintains real estate, commercial litigation, land use, appellate and municipal court practices. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Lanza is an alternate municipal prosecutor in the Borough of South Plainfield, Township of Piscataway and City of South Amboy.
Mr. Lanza earned his undergraduate degree in political science from Boston College in 1998 and graduated cum laude from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 2001.
