Profile

Eleni Vaita holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and a Certificate in International Business Studies from Arizona State University (ASU). While attending ASU, Eleni also studied criminal justice and anthropology. She was involved in the Hawaii and Pacific Islander Club and danced with the ASU Hip Hop Coalition. During summer breaks from school Eleni fortified her desire to learn about international business law while traveling through Western Europe and the South Pacific.

Eleni also holds a Juris Doctor and Certificate in International Trade and Business Law from the University of Arizona. While in law school, Eleni was one of three students selected to compete in a national environmental moot court competition. She was also a criminal law clerk at the Pima County Attorney’s Office. She worked on a variety of cases, ranging from DUIs to First Degree Murder. Eleni affirmed her passion to work in the courtroom by acting as a student prosecutor. She completed five bench trials and one jury trial before graduating from law school.

Currently, Eleni vigorously defends her clients’ rights and freedoms. While she takes a strong stance in the courtroom, Eleni also provides empathetic and compassionate representation. Like all of the attorneys at Harris and Winger, P.C., Eleni is committed to aggressively seeking the best results for her clients.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

When she is not pursuing her passion in court, Eleni loves to travel and read. She also makes time for her other passions: spoiling her nephews and niece, camping, SCUBA diving, free diving for abalone, and winning at board games. Eleni has lived in Arizona for 18 years, and thrilled by both the atmosphere and opportunities for great hiking in Flagstaff.
