Marvin Kurzban, the firm's managing partner, was born in Brooklyn, New York, on October 9, 1945; admitted to the bar, 1970, Florida; 1971 U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida 1976, U.S. (Court of Appeal), 5th Circuit; 1980, U.S. Supreme Court, Education: George Washington University (B.A., with honors, 1976); University of Miami (J.D., with honors 1970), Phi Alpha Delta (President, 1970). Mr. Kurzban has been lead trial counsel in numerous cases of public note particularly against governmental entities for injuries to the public, Boyle v. Department of Transportation, Morejon v. Department of Environmental Protection, Jean-Baptiste v. Dade County, Rivera v. Dade County. Additionally, he has established record amounts of medical malpractice and personal injury recoveries. He is the proud father of Jed, Seth, and Meredith Kurzban, and husband of Susan Kurzban.
