Langerman, Amy G

Catherine is a graduate of Pace University School of Law and went to college at East Carolina University, where she majored in Child Development and Family Relations. Thereafter, Catherine provided counseling to victims of domestic violence and their families, at a non-profit crisis counseling center. As a result of counseling, she became interested in children's rights and decided to translate that counseling experience into legal advocacy.

Prior to working at the Law Office of Peter D. Hoffman, Catherine worked as a staff attorney at the Pace Women's Justice Center, Family Court Legal Program, where she advocated for victims of domestic violence. Catherine represented women in family court to obtain temporary orders of protection, custody and child support.

Catherine was also acknowledged by the Pace Women's Justice Center for providing outstanding pro bono services in its fight against domestic violence at the 2012 Pace Women's Justice Center Annual Benefit Dinner.
