Kori Land joined the firm in 1996 as an Associate and became a Shareholder in 2002. She has served as City Attorney for the City of West St. Paul and the West St. Paul Economic Development Authority since 2003 and as City Attorney for the City of South St. Paul and the City of Randolph since 2008. Ms. Land also is general counsel to the South Metro Fire Department, a full-time joint fire department that serves the Cities of West St. Paul and South St. Paul through a Joint Powers Agreement. South Metro Fire also operates a BLS ambulance service on behalf of its Cities through a subcontract with HealthEast Ambulance. She has extensive experience in municipal law ranging in issues from open meeting law, data practices, joint powers agreements, ordinances, personnel, labor negotiations, land use, zoning, planning, economic development, prosecution, mutual aid agreements, antenna rental, public improvements, assessment hearings and many other issues that cities face on a daily basis.
