Ashley received his Juris Doctorate from the Campbell University School of Law after completing his undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Mecklenburg County Bar and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Since beginning his legal career in 2002, Ashley has assisted clients with a variety of legal matters including personal injury and negligence claims, probate proceedings, Will contests, family law matters in addition to numerous other areas of the law.
Ashley is admitted to practice in the State of North Carolina and the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Before returning to law school, Ashley served on the staff of Benson Memorial United Methodist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina as Director of Youth Ministries. During that time he also coached the Leesville Road High School Boys Tennis team for two seasons. A native of Charlotte, Ashley and his wife Melissa have two children, Isaac and Sara Kate.
