Langan, Mark A.

Upchurch spent three years as a Signals Warfare Intelligence Analyst in the United States Army before pursuing his education. As a soldier, Upchurch completed a six month deployment to Kuwait in 2003.

Upchurch began working at the Law Offices of John H. Brooke, PC while attending Ball State University. At Ball State, Upchurch was named the Outstanding Senior in Legal Studies in 2008. He also received a Citation for Academic Excellence from University President Jo Ann Gora for maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade point average while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies.

Upchurch graduated from Notre Dame Law School. While at Notre Dame, he worked as a Research Assistant to the Honorable Kenneth F. Ripple. Also, Upchurch represented the Notre Dame Moot Court Board at the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition in 2011.

Upchurch practices criminal defense, appellate advocacy, personal injury litigation, zoning and administrative law, collections, and contract litigation. He also teaches Legal Research and Writing at Ball State University.
