Michael Lamson is a senior associate in the Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2008.
Practice
Mr. Lamson has represented individuals, public companies, and financial institutions in enforcement matters involving the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and securities self-regulatory organizations. He also has advised clients on developing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal rules and regulations.
During law school, Mr. Lamson interned with the Honorable Ellen L. Hollander for the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland and was a research assistant for Professor Danielle Citron. He also was a member of the Access to Justice Clinic at the University of Maryland School of Law, where he represented clients at bail review hearings in the District Court of Maryland. Before law school, Mr. Lamson was a staff accountant at Pioneer Investment Management USA Inc. and held a Series 6 securities license.
