Calvin O. Trevenen heads up the firm's land use and real estate tax appeal practice.  He has appeared before numerous planning and zoning boards within New Jersey.  Cal works with planners, architects, engineers and developer clients to assist them in planning for new construction, renovations and a myriad of other development opportunities.  With over 30 years of experience in the land use field, his astuteness and attention to detail have allowed him to develop relationships whereby projects may move forward from early planning stages to successful completion.  Cal's real estate tax appeal practice encompasses all types of properties, from single family homes to major industrial complexes.  He has appeared before most county tax boards within New Jersey, as well as the New Jersey Tax Court, saving his clients tax dollars into the millions over the past 30 years.

Cal's representative clients include DCH Auto Group, Essex County Presby Memorial Iris Gardens, West Essex Board of Realtors, YMCA of Montclair, Green Hill, Inc. and Homes of Montclair Ecumenical Corp (HOMECorp).

Cal is a graduate of Colgate University and Seton Hall University School of Law.
