Matthew J. Krawczyk is an associate attorney with Krawczyk, Duginski & Rohr, S.C. Matthew was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the surrounding suburb of Greenfield, Wisconsin. Matthew attended the University of Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting (2004) with Honors and Distinction. Matthew continued his education at Marquette University, where he earned his law degree (J.D. 2007).
Matthew focuses his legal practice on representing the interests of financial institutions in consumer and commercial foreclosure actions, consumer and commercial replevin actions, together with other various secured transactions to recover and preserve the assets and collateral of a lender’s security interest. In addition, Matthew represents financial institutions, small businesses and individuals in their collection efforts against customers who fail or refuse to perform on a contract. He has experience in post-judgment collection activities including supplemental examinations, contempt hearings, earnings garnishments, non-earnings garnishments and execution of writs of replevin and assistance.
Matthew has also represented creditors in bankruptcy proceedings involving Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 of the bankruptcy code. He will ensure that your rights as a creditor are retained, whether it be through the filing of a motion for relief from the automatic stay (and co-debtor stay, if necessary) and abandonment, through an objection to confirmation of a proposed plan, the filing of an adversary complaint objecting to dischargeability or exemptions claimed by debtors, or through other necessary action.
Matthew also has experience representing real estate buyers and sellers in both residential and commercial transactions. In addition, Matthew has assisted small businesses and individuals with their corporate/limited liability company organization and registration.
