I am currently the managing partner and president of ROBERT M. TODD, P.A. Since 1975, I have had a wide range of experience in civil trial practice, including workers' compensation, automobile negligence, wrongful death, products liability, health and disability insurance policy claims, appellate practice, construction litigation and commercial disputes. I was among the first group of attorneys to achieve board certification in workers' compensation under the Florida Bar Certification program. Over the 25 years of my career, I have earned a reputation of being an ardent and effective litigator, while at the same time, my clients have enjoyed my expertise in settlement negotiations. With an expanding practice in mediation, in both litigated and non-litigated disputes, I have become a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator. I have had the opportunity to mediate cases involving Fortune 500 companies, major utilities, and local governments, assisting in resolving a wide variety of issues including workers' compensation, civil litigation and ADA claims. Most recently, I have become a Certified Family Mediator and have been mediating family law disputes. I am also certified as an arbitrator by the Florida Dispute Resolution Center.
