James Kossuth joined the firm as an associate in 2010. He concentrates his practice in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, and construction management and litigation.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Kossuth was an associate in the litigation department of Duane Morris LLP, where he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in construction, intellectual property, telecommunications, zoning, and commercial disputes.
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Kossuth served as law clerk for the Honorable Andrew R. Grainger of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, where he handled a variety of administrative, civil and criminal appeals, including tax disputes, civil rights cases, complex commercial disputes, and criminal appeals.
Before entering law school, Mr. Kossuth worked for five years as an assistant editor at Merriam-Webster, Inc., where he wrote and edited definitions for Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, the best-selling dictionary in the U.S.
Mr. Kossuth received his B.A., cum laude, in classics and sociology from Williams College in 1998 and his J.D., cum laude, from Boston University Law School in 2006, where he was editor-in-chief of the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law.
