Koske, Richard A.

Mr. Thrasher graduated from the University of Texas in 1973 with a decree in Economics, and married his highschool sweetheart later that fall.  Mr. Thrasher graduated from The University of Houston School of Law in 1978, and was an editor for the Houston Law Review during the 1977-1978 academic year.  He became a member of the Texas State Bar in 1978.

Following his acceptance into the Texas State Bar in 1978, Mr. Thrasher began working for Hays, McConn, Price & Pickering in Houston, Texas, with a primary focus in banking and business law transactions.  In 1984, he was assigned to help Mr. Pickering open the Austin, Texas branch office for Hays, McConn, Price & Pickering. 

In 1988, when asked to return to the Houston branch of Hays, McConn, Price & Pickering, he opted to create a partnership with a former law school classmate John Ventura.  Ventura & Thrasher was established in 1988, with a primary focus on consumer bankruptcy and personal injury law, with Mr. Thrasher overseeing the Austin branch office, and Mr. Ventura overseeing a branch in Brownsville, Texas.

In 1992, Ventura & Thrasher amicably dissolved, due to the relocation of Mr. Ventura.  Mr. Thrasher continued practicing personal injury law as a solo practitioner, and became Board Certified in Personal Injury Law in 1996.  Between 1999-2001, Mr. Thrasher shifted his practice to focus primarily on family law, probate and business litigation.
