Robert J. Teply is a counsel in the Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Teply's practice focuses on securities and corporate law matters, with an emphasis on corporate finance, compliance and governance, and public and private acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Teply represents issuers and underwriters in capital markets transactions, and he advises clients regarding ongoing SEC reporting and proxy matters.
Past Experience
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Teply served as an associate in the US Law Group of an international law firm in London.
From 2003-2004, Mr. Teply clerked for the Honorable James B. Loken of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Professional Activities
Mr. Teply has been a regular speaker at the D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program's annual Introduction to Securities Law Series.
