Mr. Knapp concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, municipal law, and estate planning. He served on the Livonia City Council from 2002 to 2009. In February of 2009, Mr. Knapp resigned from the Livonia City Council to accept the appointment by Mayor Jack Kirksey as the Livonia City Attorney. He continues to work at Fausone Bohn, LLP, as well as serve as the Livonia City Attorney. He is a past chair and member of the University of Michigan-Dearborn Alumni Society, and past member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association's Alumni Leadership Council. He is a member of the Livonia Chamber of Commerce, Livonia Kiwanis, and Monaghan Knights of Columbus. In addition to earning his J.D. from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University and passing the bar, Mr. Knapp is also a graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Detroit Catholic Central.
