Gayle Terry is a staff attorney in the firm's Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2007.
Practice
Ms. Terry has a general litigation practice that is focused on electronic discovery and related discovery collection, analysis and production issues. She has direct experience with electronic and hard copy discovery document preparation and review in cases involving complex commercial litigation, congressional inquiries and government and regulatory investigations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Terry served as an environmental analyst and counsel for a DoD contracting firm, instructed Business Law, Ethics and Civil Rights courses at the University of Mary Washington, and worked as an e-discovery project manager and contract litigation attorney for other Washington, DC area law firms.
A former federal defender and Cook County, Illinois assistant state’s attorney, Ms. Terry shares the firm’s commitment to pro bono work in criminal appeals. She has assisted several senior associates and counsel with appellate brief preparation and oral argument presentation before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Ms. Terry has also represented clients as pro bono counsel for federal matters referred to the DC District Court’s Mediation Program.
