Luwana R. Klarstrom was born and raised in Los Angeles County.
Ms. Klarstrom graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with emphasis on Constitutional Law. She received her Juris Doctor in December 2002 from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. Ms. Klarstrom successfully passed the California Bar Exam in February 2003 and was admitted to the California State Bar in September 2003. During her third year of law school, Ms. Klarstrom served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Richard Fruin, Jr. of the Los Angeles Superior Court. During her Externship, Ms. Klarstrom assisted with his Law and Motion calendar and the Court’s Community Outreach Committee.
Ms. Klarstrom is a board member and Treasurer of the Orange County Barristers.
