Kirkland, Kent C.

Kent C. Kirkland is a partner at Wilson, Luginbill & Kirkland, LLC who focuses his practice in the areas of medical negligence, personal injury, domestic relations and criminal defense. After graduating from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Kent worked as an Assistant Solicitor for Randolph Murdaugh in Hampton, Allendale, Jasper and Colleton counties. He later formed Kirkland Law Firm, LLC in Barnwell, South Carolina.

Kent is a member of the Barnwell Bar, the South Carolina Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association for Justice.

Kent is a graduate of Blackville High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of South Carolina at Aiken. He also earned an associate’s degree in Nursing from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College and has been a registered nurse since 1992.

Kent was born in Millette, South Carolina to the late George F. Kirkland and Faith Snyder Kirkland. He and his wife, Kelsey, have been married since 1982. They have two grown sons. He is an avid outdoorsman and spends as much time possible on the South Edisto River.
