Mr. Khan is admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of New York and also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of New York and United States District Court, Western District of New York. He has taught numerous CLE seminars and advanced electronic discovery courses to lawyers and other professionals. Most recently (2007-2009) he was Director of Litigation & Electronic Discovery at the global law firm of Dewey & LeBoeuf, New York, and prior to Dewey, from 1998 to 2007, he managed firm wide Litigation Technology Services at the international law firm of Hogan & Hartson, Washington, DC. At both firms Mr. Khan was responsible for numerous large e-discovery projects in complex litigation, mergers and acquisitions, DOJ and federal and state regulatory agency investigation on behalf of global business enterprise clients firm wide. He has appeared as an ESI expert before the federal and state courts in numerous litigation matters. Mr. Khan holds LLB degree from the University Law College and LLM from Harvard Law School.
Mr. Khan is founder of ESI Institute, New York & Washington, DC, which offers courses and seminars on US and cross border electronic discovery law related topics world wide.
Mr. Khan is also founder of two recent pro bono projects, Legal Services for the Families of Men and Women of the Armed Forces and Legal Services for those not represented by the legal counsel especially Women and Children based in New York and Washington, D.C.
