Do Kim is a passionate advocate for the civil rights and human rights of all people. Do graduated from Harvard University with a joint degree in Afro-American Studies and Sociology in 1993 and earned his law degree from UCLA in 2002, with concentrations in Public Interest Law and Policy and Critical Race Studies.
Do specializes in employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, police misconduct, and prisoner abuse. Do has a strong track record of obtaining excellent results for his clients. He worked on a false arrest case, Benham v. Walgreen Company, in which a jury awarded $2.1 million against three defendants. Over the years, Do worked on a variety of employment and civil rights cases, including the following:

As a board president of The K.W. Lee Center for Leadership, a nonprofit youth center in the heart of Koreatown, Do is dedicated to training the next generation of leaders, who can build coalitions with other ethnic groups. A lifelong resident of Koreatown, Do has worked to champion the right of the underdogs and disenfranchised for over twenty years.
