Bradley Sylwester is an experienced trial attorney and practices in the areas of personal injury, employment discrimination, civil rights and constitutional violations, insurance defense, municipal law, and general civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and has represented clients in the state and federal courts located in those states. Mr. Sylwester has represented clients in all stages of the litigation process and uses that experience to fully explain the litigation process to his clients.

Mr. Sylwester's forte in researching and analyzing the law is reflected in his legal drafting of dispositive motions that often conclude a matter without the necessity of a trial. His astute understanding of the legal consequences of properly drafting answers to petitions is of great value to our clients. He is quickly able to focus on the elements of each individual case and prepare discovery documents to be sure all the facts are disclosed.
Not only does Mr. Sylwester prepare these documents, but he is also a skillful advocate for our clients, traveling to court to argue and advocate for their legal rights. He has a low key but Firm approach to representation of the clients in strategic court management conferences where the judge gets the first impression of the case.
Because of his experience and training, Mr. Sylwester is able to select expert witnesses who will enhance the court's understanding of technical and complex issues and to work with those experts to prepare them to present their knowledge in the most effective way in court.
Mr. Sylwester has refined the art of taking depositions of witnesses and he prepares clients for depositions with equal skill. Very often the deposition will be a critical factor in preparing direct and cross examination of trial witnesses. Mr. Sylwester knows what questions to ask and how to follow through to get all the information that is necessary to the defense of a case.
Mr. Sylwester is committed to providing personalized legal representation to his clients. He works closely with his clients in order to formulate a strategy to best serve his clients' interests. He also believes it is important to keep his clients informed of the status of a pending lawsuit and regularly updates his clients of new developments in a lawsuit.
Mr. Sylwester received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 1999, where he was a member of the Missouri Law Review. He was also the recipient of the merit-based Omar E. Robinson Scholarship. He graduated cum laude from Missouri State University in 1996 with a B.S. in Political Science.
