Khadder, Sami N.

Elona Kerleshi graduated cum laude and with College Honors from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Arts in both International Development Studies and Spanish. Later, she received her J.D. degree from California Western School of Law where she was a member of the Dean's list and graduated near the top of her class. Elona was also a member of the Pro-Bono Honor Society where she dedicated a significant portion of her time to help address the unmet legal needs of disadvantaged and underrepresented individuals.

Elona's passion for immigration law arises from her personal experience with immigration. She relocated from Albania to the United States at the age of 13 and understands the struggles and hardships of moving and adjusting to a new country. As a result, she loves to work in an environment where she has the opportunity to make a difference for others who are going through similar tribulations.

While in law school, Elona has worked as an intern at various legal organizations including the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, but found her work as an intern in the immigration law field most rewarding.
