Mr. Swabb is an associate in the Regulatory and Government Affairs Department, and a member of the Defense, National Security and Government Contracts Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2010.
Past Experience
During law school, Mr. Swabb interned in the Counterterrorism Section at the US Department of Justice, where he wrote memoranda on constitutional issues and statutes related to international terrorism. He also served as the president of the National Security and Law Association and the co-president of the Armed Forces Association in law school.
Prior to law school, Mr. Swabb was an infantry officer in the US Marine Corps from 2002 to 2006. He led a platoon on combat operations in Iraq and planned unit training as the second-in-command of a company. Mr. Swabb returned to active duty from 2009 to 2010 to serve in the UN Mission in Liberia. He directed information collection in a remote border region, managed the drawdown of the peacekeeping force and advised on defense sector reform in Liberia.
