Karen Stringer is a counsel in the firm's Litigation/Controversy and Regulatory and Government Affairs Departments, and a member of the Business Trial and Antitrust and Competition Practice Groups. She joined the firm in 2005. Ms. Stringer returned in 2007 after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Julie E. Carnes in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Practice
Ms. Stringer’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations and securities matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stringer worked as an associate in the Litigation Department of an international law firm based in Philadelphia, where she focused on government investigations and general litigation matters. She served as co-lead counsel in a case that gained political asylum for applicants from the Ivory Coast, which was featured in The American Lawyer.
