Mark Katz's 26 years as an attorney have been devoted to demanding justice for clients and the public. As an assistant prosecutor in Jackson County, Missouri, Mark fought for justice for the victims of crime - and for the past 18 years, he has fought for his clients, big and small, individuals and corporations. He has represented cities, counties and other governmental entities; as well as insurance companies and their insureds. He has committed his career to helping his clients achieve the best possible results in trial, arbitration and mediation. Mark's litigation experience has touched many areas of the law, but his recent focus includes product liability, commercial litigation, personal injury and employment litigation.
Mark gives back to the community and his profession through his leadership in a number of organizations. He provides training to other lawyers through the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel, where he serves on the Board of Directors. He is active in his synagogue; and along with his wife, Jill, he served as a 2011 co-chair of the annual fundraiser for the AdHoc Group Against Crime, a local organization devoted to helping the victims of crime and being a bridge between the community and law enforcement.
