Kaudy, Richard M.

Ed was born in Erie, Pennsylvania but has spent his entire legal career in the Philadelphia area. He is a partner at Post & Post LLC. Ed has in excess of twenty five years of litigation experience and has practiced extensively in a wide array of practice areas including medical malpractice, general liability, product liability litigation, and medical device cases.

He has served as counsel for a national manufacturer in the Ephedra MDL Litigation in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. His defense experience also includes cases within the areas of construction defect litigation, premises liability matters, and insurance coverage litigation.

Ed possesses particular expertise in litigation involving insurance coverage and bad faith claims. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and Serves on the Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith Litigation Committees. 

His previous employment includes Post & Schell of Philadelphia, Pa; Ed was also a senior trial attorney with The Travelers Insurance Group and was the Managing Attorney for the TIG Insurance Company's Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey's litigation offices.

Ed graduated from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa. in 1977 and obtained his master's degree there in 1981. He obtained his J.D. from the Widener University School of Law in 1984. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
