Kathman, William J.

Suzanne Heald Kaplan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, with high honors. She received her Juris Doctor degree from King Hall at the University of California at Davis in 2006.

During law school, Ms. Kaplan served as Chair of the Moot Court Board and was the winner of King Hall's annual intra-school Moot Court Competition in 2005. She was a member of the National Moot Court Team, National Mock Trial Team and the Trial Practice Honors Board. In 2006, she was inducted into the Order of Barristers. Ms. Kaplan also served on the Board of Directors of the King Hall Legal Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the public interest.

Ms. Kaplan was a summer clerk for the Firm during law school and joined the firm as an associate in 2006. She is admitted to the State Bar of California. Her practice focuses primarily on the prosecution of securities fraud class actions.
