Jon Stock's practice focuses on complex civil and commercial litigation, including class actions, shareholder disputes, real estate controversies, consumer protection claims, contract claims, and claims related to mass marketing. He has defended companies against claims brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 (the TCPA), and has represented both landlords and tenants in commercial property cases.
Jon's recent representations include defending a private company against a TCPA class action, defending a South Korean company in a commercial dispute before the Delaware Chancery Court, and defending the owner of a large New Jersey manufacturing facility in a landlord-tenant dispute. During the course of his practice, Jon also has represented companies in litigation involving ERISA, the Ohio Consumer Sales Practices Act, the Ohio Lemon Law, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, and the state of Ohio's insurance and public pension laws.
Jon has written several articles on mass marketing and the restrictions that govern fax advertising, telemarketing, and email. His most recent article, coauthored with a colleague, concerns data privacy, "Protecting Your Data Protects the Bottom Line."
