Belinda Juran is a partner in the Technology Transactions and Licensing Practice Group and the Life Sciences Group. She joined the firm in 1998.
Practice
Ms. Juran's practice focuses on advising clients on technology-centered transactions. She helps biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, high technology, green technology and service companies achieve their strategic goals by advising them on all phases of their product development and commercialization relationships. Ms. Juran negotiates and advises clients on collaboration, development, distribution, license and service agreements with customers, suppliers, licensors, licensees and other third parties, and on the acquisition and sale of intellectual property and joint venture arrangements. She works with clients on matters ranging from bet-the-company billion-dollar global strategic collaborations to day-to-day issues. Ms. Juran also has provided general corporate advice to public and private companies and represented companies in venture capital financings, initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Juran provides her clients with practical insights by combining her experience and education in technology, business and law. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Juran worked in the high technology industry for several years, where she developed sophisticated computer-aided engineering software, then managed engineering departments. She has also been a consultant to several high technology companies.

- Represented Infinity Pharmaceuticals in a broad drug discovery collaboration with Purdue
- Represented Synta Pharmaceuticals in a development and commercialization collaboration with Hoffman-La Roche for drugs to treat inflammatory diseases
- Represented Regulus Therapeutics in a collaboration with GSK to develop and commercialize microRNA therapeutics for inflammatory diseases
- Advised Broadcom on the acquisition of the digital television business from Advanced Micro Devices
