Originally from New York, Mike graduated from Brown University with a double major in International Relations and Political Science, magna cum laude, in May 2003. Thereafter, Mike went on to graduate from Roger Williams University School of Law, cum laude, in May 2008. Throughout law school Mike worked in the health and fitness industry, which is a continued passion of his outside of his legal career. In addition, during law school, Mike served as a certified mediator in the Kent County Family Court and Newport District Court, mediating child custody, visitation, and landlord/tenant disputes.
Joining the CCK team in January 2010, Mike works primarily in the firm's Veterans Benefits practice. Specifically, he focuses on appeals to the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and has successfully represented over two hundred veterans during his tenure.
Currently, Mike serves on the Roger Williams School of Law Alumni Board of Directors and is a member of the National Organization of Veteran's Advocates ("NOVA"), the Rhode Island Bar Association, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association.
