Sara Johnson was born in Kremmling, Colorado and was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After graduating from Coronado High School in Colorado Springs, CO, she attended Arizona State University. Sara graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies. She moved to Texas in 2003 and attended the Texas Tech School of Law from 2005-2008. She obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2008 and her law license in November 2008.
Sara joined Shackelford, Hawkins, and Searcy, P.C. in October 2009. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Lubbock County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association, and South Plains Trial Lawyer Association.
In 2010, Sara was nominated for Outstanding Young Lawyer in Lubbock, Texas. Sara's practice areas include criminal law, family law, personal injury, wills, probate and/other areas of civil litigation.
