Mr. Jones was head of the Civil Right Section in the Office of the Georgia Attorney General where he practiced for more than thirty years. During his tenure, he successfully litigated matters ranging from excessive use of force to employment discrimination. He also represented the Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy Boards as well as Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Council with licensure discipline and legislation.
Now in private practice, he handles both plaintiff and defendant civil rights matters, licensure issues for all professions, and virtually any governmental matter. Having previously been an Assistant District Attorney in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, he handles State Bar complaints primarily for District Attorneys and their Assistants. He is currently representing numerous individuals charged with criminal offenses as well.
