Jones, John Alan

Ross T. Johnson is an associate at Lewis, Slovak & Kovacich. Ross grew up working on the family farm and ranch, located north of Conrad, Montana. Following graduation from Conrad High School in 2004, he went on to attend Brown University in Providence, RI, where he was a member of the wrestling team. In 2008, Ross graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics. After graduating college, Ross returned to Montana where he earned a J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2012.

During law school Ross worked at the Missoula Office of Public Defenders as a clinical intern. While working for the Office of Public Defenders, Ross represented inmates at Sentence Review Hearings, arguing to the Sentence Review Division of the Montana Supreme Court. Ross also appeared on behalf of defendants at arraignments, made bond arguments, negotiated plea bargains, and briefed multiple issues while working at the Missoula Office of Public Defenders.

Ross, his wife Blair, and their two dogs enjoy all that Montana has to offer-great hunting, fishing, camping, skiing and hiking, all with a level of solitude and beauty that can only be found in Montana.
