Her interest in and understanding of criminal defense evolved during an internship with a Justice of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Writing judicial opinions for the Justice gave Lynn the opportunity to see the cases’ arguments from both the prosecution and defense sides, and how important it is for all defendants to be represented by competent, aggressive, and knowledgeable defense attorneys.

Lynn understands how the system works.  Her experience in successfully defending clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies in Dallas, Tarrant, and Collin counties enables her to know how the state will build a case against the accused. She knows how to challenge that case with relentless protection of Constitutional rights.

Caring about justice for all defendants is what motivates Lynn to volunteer with Legal Aid of North West Texas - Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program (DVAP), providing pro bono services. Even with her busy schedule, she makes time to give back to those whose means and circumstances may put them at a legal disadvantage without the volunteers’ help.
