Kristie Johnson is part of the Litigation group at Andersen, Tate & Carr. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial and business litigation, representing clients in contract disputes, labor and employment matters, workers' compensation, and land/title matters. Before joining Andersen, Tate & Carr, Mrs. Johnson practiced with the Atlanta firm of Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers working in the area of workers' compensation.
Mrs. Johnson received her Juris Doctor degree from the Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in 2004, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board and American Women's Law Society. Mrs. Johnson received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree Political Science, summa cum laude in 2001, from Auburn University Montgomery, where she was a member of the academic fraternities Omicron Delta Kappa, Pi Sigma Alpha and Pi Sigma Phi. She was also a Senator in the AUM Student Government Association and served on the AUM Campus Activities Board.
Mrs. Johnson was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia in 2004 and is licensed to practice before the Georgia Superior Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and U.S. Federal District Court, Northern Division. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Gwinnett County Bar Association.
Mrs. Johnson and her husband, Phil Johnson, and yellow Labrador, Sadie, live in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
