Jeff Johnson, a partner in Dickstein Shapiro's Litigation Practice, is a trial attorney who has practiced law for more than 30 years. His initial first-chair trial experience was as a third-year associate in 1983, when he successfully defended an alleged assassin against the extradition demands of the governments of Argentina and the United States. Since then, he has had the opportunity to try dozens of cases in substantively diverse areas of the law, handling and trying through verdict intellectual property cases, insurance coverage disputes, professional liability issues, internal corporate and partnership disputes, and commercial fraud, construction, energy, environmental, and banking matters. He has also been heavily involved in numerous internal corporate investigations and in defending clients against government investigations by various federal inspectors general.
