Stephanie M. Spell is an Associate who joined Rosenberg & Estis in 2012 and is part of the firm’s transactional department. Prior to joining R&E, she worked at the law firm of Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP as an Associate in the real estate and corporate law departments. She also served as an intern for the late Hon. David G. Trager in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the Hon. Fernando Camacho in Queens County Supreme Court. Stephanie also worked as an intern in the Gang Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney's Office.
Stephanie received her J. D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she received the prestigious Lark-Barranco Scholarship and graduated cum laude.
While at Brooklyn Law School, she served as an Executive Notes and Comments Editor on the Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law and was a Fellow of the Dennis J. Block Center for International Business Law. Stephanie also received the Joel M. Leifer Memorial Fellowship for excellence in the study of securities law.
Prior to attending Brooklyn Law School, Stephanie earned her M.A. in international relations from St. John's University, where she also graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in government and politics. At St. John's University, Stephanie was the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship and was awarded the Gerald E. Fitzgerald Memorial Award for demonstration of superior academic ability in government and politics.
